Rugby League Federation of Ghana has had, despite all the difficulties, a really eventful and enjoyable 2020 and they are looking forward to an even more eventful 2021.

As well as achieving affiliate membership of International Rugby League, RLFG has run a wide and varied programme for men, women and young people. They have also fully immersed themselves in supporting community campaigns such as breast cancer awareness.

In 2021, they are hoping for further increases in participation across all sections of the sport, the introduction of new and varied versions such as touch rugby and further community support for issues felt across the whole of Ghana.

RLFG General Manager, Jafar Mustapha has spoken with great confidence and hope about the coming year, "2021 is an action-packed year which  promises lots of fun. We pray that all our stakeholders bring on their A-game to help us to realise the dream of becoming full members of IRL by 2023. I can't wait for the new season to begin."
