Ireland cemented second place in the Four Nations U16M tournament with a 24-8 victory over Scotland in Dublin.
Josh Guynan opened their account after just six minutes in the centre of the field, with Tommy Rhodes adding the first of four conversions.
Both sides battled it out in the Dublin heatwave before Finn McLaughlin and Tommy Rhodes both struck in rapid succession, giving Ireland an 18-0 advantage at the break.
Scotland struck first in the second half as Tom Glover opened their account with a clever run, but he failed to improve with the conversion.
Austin Byrne restored the advantage for Ireland before the final word went to Scotland as Declan Smith powered through to add a further consolation try and some respectability to the scoreline.
