Scotland Rugby League has announced that fixtures in the National League will begin on June 26th 2021. The league will feature five clubs, Fife Lions, Glasgow, Strathmore Silverbacks, Forth Valley Vikings and Edinburgh Eagles
Ollie Cruikshank, Scotland Rugby League Operations Director said, "It is great to finally be in a position to announce the return of the National League, we were unable to get any fixtures played in 2020 prior to the lockdown starting so our teams haven't played since August 2019 so i'm happy we are in a position to see the return of rugby league in Scotland.
"The clubs have been working hard over the last 12 months and i'm delighted to welcome new club Forth Valley Vikings into the league and we see the return of Edinburgh Eagles who played in the North East Rugby League competition in 2019.
"We will be announcing the Scottish Cup fixtures shortly as well as our Disability Rugby League and U16 fixtures."
