Misconduct hearing: Serbian RLF directors found guilty

The five Directors of the Serbian Rugby League Federation have been found guilty of misconduct following a complaint brought by the IRL Board of Directors.
Radoslav Novaković, Nenad Zujic, Admir Hadžić, Marija Maslaković and Lazar Živković were charged in October with attempting to bring IRL secretary general Danny Kazandjian into disrepute over a period of several months and have been sanctioned following the dismissal of their appeal on June 11, 2026.
Novaković, who has sat on the SRLF Board for over two decades, was identified as the author of the offending correspondence. Consequently, his £500 fine is double the other four Directors, whose fines have been suspended for 12 months.
The Honourable Geoffrey Bellew, IRL Head of Judiciary, chaired the Misconduct Committee, alongside Ms Jane Aldred and Ms Juanita Maiden.
