JAMAICA TO PLAY CANADA MEN

Jamaica and Canada’s men will meet in a senior international on Saturday 22 November at the University of West Indies (kick off 3.30pm, local time) in a game for world ranking points. The nations last met in October 2024 in Toronto, Canada winning 28-6 and this encounter will be preceded by a first U19s clash between them.
Jamaica RLA director of rugby, Romeo Monteith, commented: “We are looking forward to our youth and senior games versus Canada in Kingston. We have a healthy rivalry that we continue to build on and our local fans will, no doubt, be treated to a fine afternoon of rugby league.”
“Playing against Canada always brings out the best in us,” Jamaica head coach Roy Calvert added. “No doubt they will start as favourites after defeating us when we last played them. We don’t need to do anything special, just trust our systems and each other.”
Canada RL chair, John Cameron, said: “After welcoming Jamaica here last October, we're looking forward our first trip back on the road for the men in over 10 years. It also marks an important milestone for our men's programme with an international for our U19s and a joint camp between the seniors and juniors. This is a key step in our development road map.”
