Following the manifesto on which he stood for election, FFRXIII President Luc Lacoste has conducted and in-depth review of the whole of the international programme in France. The outcome sees a whole new team leading the Chanteclairs into the World Cup under the leadership of Trent Robinson, who will carry out his role alongside his duties with Sydney Roosters.

Robinson has been appointed as Director of Rugby whilst Laurent Frayssinous is appointed as Head Coach.

Speaking about the appointments, M Lacoste said ““Club France” must be the flagship for our sport and our federation. From today we enter a decisive period with the one sole objective, to represent our jersey and our illustrious heroes with honour at the men’s, women’s and wheelchair world cups”

David Collado will manage the men’s team. Vincent Baloup, Rachid Amraoui, Jerome De Azevedo and Lise M’Foudi will look after the women’s squad and Sylvain Chrismanovich and Laurent Dupuy will continue their work with the wheelchair squad as they try to retain the World Cup.

In a breakthrough moment in rugby league, the Men’s, Women’s and Wheelchair competitions will be staged in a single, celebratory event.
