A businessman and investor by profession, Luc was elected president of the French rugby league federation in December 2020 and joined the IRL Board in October 2021.
A keen footballer and tennis player in his youth, Luc became president of the USAP rugby union club in Perpignan in 2017, re-organising the business model of a club in difficulty and becoming increasingly in demand to opine on the modern sports industry in France. It was in Perpignan that he first became involved in rugby league, through watching Catalans Dragons, and was subsequently approached to create a ticket to stand for the FFR13 presidency. He now brings that cross-section of insight and experience from his business and sporting lives to French rugby league and the international game, where he is also a director of European Rugby League.
Luc, who hails from Bordeaux, is a fluent English speaker, having been educated and lived in both London and Paris, among other places. He is a Knight of France’s National Order of Merit.
