Local powerhouses Red Star and Partizan will clash in the Serbian cup semi-finals, after both teams stormed to big victories as the season restarted in Serbia. In the first competitive weekend after the COVID-19 pandemic the eternal rivals joined Radnicki Nis, who qualified prior to lockdown, in the final four. Dorcol Tigers make up the final four after a narrow win against Belgrade rivals Radnicki Novi Beograd.

All the games were played at one venue – SC Inge in Belgrade and behind closed doors and following Serbian government instructions. Partizan kicked-off the competition on Saturday as the convincingly defeated Beogradski ORK 76-0.

The SRL development squad were only sparring partners for Partizan as were Car Dusan Silni a day later for Red Star as both games were won by large scores. The cup holders dismantled their visitors from Paracin 94-0 setting up another big derby in next weekend's semi-finals.

Partizan will have a chance to avenge their Super Cup loss against their biggest rivals earlier this year as well as breaking  local and regional three year Red Star's 3-year undefeated run in national and regional competitions.

In the closest match of the weekend, the Belgrade city derby between Dorcol Tigers and Radnicki saw the Tigers head through to the semi-finals with a 26-14 win. Dorcol will now head to Nis to take on a different Radnicki.
