Emma Young

Emma is an independent technology consultant and specialises in enabling businesses and organisational change through the provision of technology solutions.  Prior to this Emma was the Vice President of IT at Arm, where she was accountable for enterprise-wide IT projects, Digital Strategy and the creation of the IT Business Change and Delivery function.

Emma joined the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2007 and as Head of Telecommunication Services led the staff, partners and suppliers responsible for the strategy, design and delivery of technology infrastructure and telecoms services critical to the successful operation of the London 2012 games.  As part of her role, Emma worked on secondment in the Birds Nest Stadium in Beijing during the 2008 Games.

Emma started her career in technology as a radio planning engineer designing mobile phone networks at Ionica, One2One, Nokia and 3 and holds a Bachelor of Science from Cardiff University.
